Aquaman scores at box office

The DC superhero film, in its third week out, has now taken in a global total of $941m (R13.18bn).
It is the biggest Warner Bros comic-book film since
earned more than $1bn (R14bn) in 2012, according to Variety’s entertainment news website.

at $15.9m (R222.74m). The sequel to the beloved 1964 film stars Emily Blunt in the title role and LinManuel Miranda as a limber and lovable lamplighter. In fourth place was
from Paramount, at $13.2m (R185m).

movies stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena.
Sony’s
dropped to fifth, with a take of $13.1m (R183.6m). The film won a best animated picture award at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
