Making Young Hearts Happy
Children born with congenital heart disease in Buffalo City were spoilt on Saturday at a picnic at the Burnside touch farm. Many of the children have been part of the treatment programme conducted by doctors from the Red Cross Children's Hospital in Cape Town at Frere and Cecilia Makiwane Hospitals. Team Lee, an initiative started by parent Ndimpiwe Mhlontla after he lost his young son to what he believes was congenital heart disease, also supported the event.
