Ntuli and Khoza breath of fresh air

-

THE leader headline “The DA’s Mbali Ntuli is the real thing” ( Daily News, May 17) refers.

You state “South Africa needs politicians like her to replace the old tainted order that the country’s voters have become so used to and tired of ”.

How right you are, but why do you only comment on this DA member and studiously ignore that other shining light, breath of fresh air, hope and member of the ANC Dr Makhosi Khoza?

If any political party needs a total overhaul and complete change of leadership and direction, it is the imploding ANC.

Once the ridiculous lumpen and largely middle-aged ANCYL can be dislodged and ignored, she could help rescue a dying ANC duck.

It is becoming so tiresome and boring for constant attacks on the DA’s Helen Zille, a convenient red herring, while ignoring the shameful scandals, theft of taxpayers’ money and corruption which engulf our ruling party daily.

We need bright, intelligent, dedicated young politicians from all our political parties to help drag this country back on track.

Let’s kiss goodbye the old codgers of pensionable age, who are so old hat and yesterday, and devoid of progressive forward-thinking, which is now unfortunately busy wrecking any hope of the country’s future progress.

South Africa needs fresh, young, intelligent and educated people to take us forward, away from the abyss that is staring us in the face. M MITCHELL Westville
