Belgium blast

BRUSSELS: An explosion in a sports centre in a small Belgian community near the border with France killed one person and injured four.

“It was probably a gas explosion,” an official said. There was no indication of it being a militant attack.

The explosion occurred just after midnight.

Two of the injured people were in a serious condition. Part of the building was destroyed by the blast.
