The exhibition is the initiative of Prensa Latina News Agency to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Cuban leader.

Prensa Latina News Agency was born in 1959 with the aim of giving the world a vision of Latin America different to that offered by big media monopolies of the time.

WIth more than 4 million images, the Prensa Latina Photo Library is considered one of the largest and most valid sources of information for historical, scientific and sociological research. The images on exhibition, which cover various stages of Castro’s life, were all taken by Prensa Latina News Agency photographers.
