Sharks seek momentum from Sunwolves

THE Sharks identified the upcoming games against the Bulls, Stormers and Lions as major threats in their schedule, and hoped that the Force, Kings and Sunwolves would be momentum builders.

Things have not really gone to plan as the Force match was less than spectacular, the Kings was a disaster, and despite the high scoreline, the Sunwolves game was not an impressive showing.

There are still plenty of kinks to work out of the Sharks’ game, especially their ability to convert chances in the opposition 22, and coach Robert du Preez will be a hard taskmaster on this front.

The Sharks, almost assured a knockout spot now, will need to up their game substantially, if they are to at least make a contest of their quarter-final.
