Helping to deliver the milk…

Durban comedian Neville Pillay is pictured supporting the Daily News Milk Fund initiative at the Checksave supermarket in Verulam. The Daily News Milk Fund began more than 80 years ago and provides at least one glass of milk and a bowl of energy cereal to almost 20 000 schoolchildren in KwaZulu-Natal from Monday to Friday. The Daily News has teamed up with Checksave and Checkstar supermarkets to ensure we are able to continue helping those in need. For every litre of Checkvalue milk sold during this month, Checksave and Checkstar will donate 40 cents towards the Daily News Milk Fund. Our target is to collect 250 000 litres this month.
