RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil’s President Michel Temer rejected graft charges against him and refused to step down.

Temer also accused the Attorney-General Rodrigo Janot of reinventin­g the criminal code in order to attack him. Janot on Monday charged Temer with taking bribes from the firm JBS in return for his intercessi­on in its favour at the country’s competitio­n regulator.
