Boycott effects

LONDON: The government of Qatar took the United Arab Emirates to the UN’s International Court of Justice , accusing it of human rights abuses as a result of a boycott enacted last year.

The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt imposed a boycott on Qatar last year, accusing it of backing terrorism. Doha said the boycott led by UAE had a devastating effect on the human rights of Qataris.
