Soldiers killed

SRINAGAR: Indian officials say Pakistani soldiers have targeted an Indian border patrol along the highly militarised frontier in disputed Kashmir, in the Jammu region, killing four soldiers and injuring three others.

The nations had recently agreed to stop trading fire there and uphold a ceasefire accord dating back 15 years.

Pakistan did not immediately comment.
