Pain for a young loss
SIR – I went to the memorial service for a young man … 21 years and one month old we were told, and the experience left me deeply and profoundly moved.
I don’t think many reading this would know his name but to those he left behind his loss was immeas- urable.
He was a student at a local place of learning but much, much more than that he was already a leader, an influencer, a voice of hope for all who knew him.
Death is always a tragedy but the unexpected death of someone so loved, someone so young, someone so full of promise is incomprehensible and often deeply bitter.
