THE FILM and Publication Board has instituted a new symbol to classify blasphemy. The “B” symbol, which forms part of the board’s classification process, will act as a consumer alert that blasphemy occurs in the film. The symbol will be used where “offensive, derogatory or irreverent references and comments pertaining to any religion” is made.
