City cops do well in Cape THE SAPS National Karate Team participated in the Karate South Africa Championship that was held in Cape Town recently.

Karateka from all over the country participated, which made this event extremely tough. Kimberley’s Lt Col Samuel Nkosi took silver in the kata, while Warrant Officer Ansunette Stemmet, Constable Daniel Phetlo, Sgt Frank Helmie and PO Bushy Figlan all walked away with bronze in their divisions of the kumite competition.
