THE COCA-Cola Khaya Majola Cricket Week being held in Johannesburg continued into its third day yesterday, with the Northern Cape Cricket team playing two 20/20 fixtures.

NCC faced neighbours Free State at the St Stithians Main Oval; and in the afternoon they moved to St Stithians Baytop Oval to take on Boland.

NCC’s run chase ended with a dreary 105 all out, the team only managing a mediocre rate of 5.25. Nonetheless, Andrew Louw followed up on his 45 on the previous day with a solid 32 in this match, while Conor McNamara and Mkhuseli Mayekiso each contributed 19 runs.
