GALESHEWE Police are searching for a suspect, aged between 30 and 36, who is wanted for allegedly raping a 31-year-old woman.
According to police spokesperson, Sergeant Majang Skalkie, the suspect allegedly accosted the victim. “It is alleged that on Sunday, December 31, 2017, between 1pm and 3pm, the victim was walking with her friend from her work place when she was approached by unknown man. The man grabbed her by her clothes and stabbed her in her hand. The suspect then allegedly raped her,” said Skalkie.
