PIC OF THE DAY

An accident took place at the newly-constructed traffic circle on the N8 leading to Griekwastad on Saturday night, after the driver of a silver VW drove over the cement barriers and crashed into more cement blocks in the veld. One female passenger was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries by Emer-GMed paramedics, while the driver allegedly fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle there.
