Local lad is Last Man Standing A LOCAL dart player from Sol Plaatje Darts, Kimberley, Francois du Preez (Duppie) was the latest winner of the Last Man Standing (LMS) competition that was held recently in Cape Town. A total of 86 entries were received for the competition and Duppie was, by the end of the competition, the LMS winner after beating Lennox Beukes from Saldanha 6-4 to annex the LMS title. During the weekend Duppie achieved 8 x 180s and a 170 close which is the highest score that you can close on. The LMS competitions are been hosting all over the country for players to qualify to represent South Africa overseas.
