Action-packed Easter weekend
WHILE the traditional Easter entertainment of the Diamonds and Dorings Music Festival will not take place this weekend, after it was cancelled last month, Kimberley residents can still look forward to an action-packed long weekend, with numerous events taking place in the city.
Flamingo View Estate
Easter Festival
The Flamingo View Estate Easter Festival will take place at the estate on the N12 from April 19 to 22, noon to late on all days. Entertainment will include DJS and food stalls, egg hunts and more. The entry fee is R50 for adults, R30 for children and R20 per cooler box.
All White Party
The All White Party will take place at Black Diamond Shesa Nyama on April 21. The line-up will include national acts DJ Zan D, DJ Scott, DJ Maphorisa, KO and DJ Shaxes, supported by Bash, Kontrol X, Sandile, T-smooth, Simba81 and more. Entrance is R100 at Computicket, R150 at the door and R150 per cooler box.
GQOM Nation Shisanyama Concert
The GQOM Nation Shisanyama Concert will take place at Black Diamond Shesa Nyama on April 20. The concert will feature Black Motion, Sia and Ribatone, Moflava and Hansjnr. Entrance is R150 general, R500 VIP and R50 per cooler box. Tickets available at Computicket.
Easter Drags
The Street Outlaws will be presenting the Easter Drags in Kimberley.
The event will take place on the Boshof road (old Bloemfontein road) from April 20 to 21. Racers from Czank Racing, HP Racing, Ice Motorsports, RCB Racing, Street Kings Kimberley, Street Kings Midvaal, Street Midlanes Kimberley, Team 053, Team Daco and Team Havoc will be participating. Tickets for Saturday are R150 for pit, R100 for adults and R50 for children. On Sunday, tickets for pit are R100, adults R60 and children R30.
LYVE Fest
The LYVE Fest will take place outdoor at the Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre (MSCC) in Kimberley on April 21. Expect performances by Mlindo, Sjava, Sun El Musician, Vusinova, Amanda Black, King Monada, Simmy, Deekamo Duo, SKM, Man Deep, Sacs, Zitto, DJ Kooty, Colin Carey, Snare, KG Smallz, DJ faku, DJ Deploy and more. Tickets are R3 000 for VVIP, R1 500 for VIP, R150 for general admittance, at Computicket, and R250 at the gate. There will be a cigar lounge, champagne bar and whiskey and cognac tastings.
Galeshewe Market Day
The Galeshewe Market Day, featuring Nikki Newlands, Vicmo and Mdu will take place at the Galeshewe Stadium on April 21. Tickets are R50 (early bird) and R80 (normal) at computicket and R150 at the gate, with VIP at R600. A cash bar will be available.
Passover Conference
The Passover Conference, presented by Sanctuary Ministries, will take place at the Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre (MSCC) from April 19 to 21. Entrance is free and the conference will take place from 9.30am to 1pm and 4pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9.30am to 2pm on Sunday. The conference will be hosted by Bishop Mohau and Prophetess Nontsikelelo Shuping.
