Bush toilets: More than a spade and a pretty view

There is one thing you just cannot escape. But luckily with the help of technology you don’t have to deal with sore knees from all the squatting and you can even peacefully (and comfortably) read a magazine in the bush.

-

Every camper who has ever camped somewhere without toilet facilities knows how uncomfortable things can get. A so-called veltie might work for some, but let’s be honest, not everyone is designed to be comfortable with this. That’s why outdoor stores and manufacturers have long since seen the light and designed bush toilets to suit every man and woman’s need. Whether you’re comfortable with a hole in the ground behind a bush (down wind from camp, of course) or you’d prefer the comfort of your own flush toilet in your tent, there is something for everyone. We did some digging to help make the veltie less daunting.
