Value-for-money performer

The Outlander’s latest award – it’s fourth international one – was given by industry price guide Kelly Blue Book’s online version www.KBB.com, which appointed it as one of 2017’s “Ten most affordable three-row seat vehicles”. Every year the Kelly Blue Book looks at, amongst other things, value for money in seven- to eight-seat vehicles. Locally the new Outlander sells for R549 900. The Outlander was chosen as the most affordable sports utility vehicle with three rows seats, because of its four-wheel drive, its 2.4-litre MIVEC petrol engine, well-equipped cabin, 3-year/100 000km warranty, and 5-year/90 000 service and road-side assistance plan.
