Most of the overnight places in the Baviaanskloof are self-catering. There are two general dealers with basic supplies, the BaviJAANS farmstall that sells sandwiches and coffee, and at Vero’s you can buy vetkoek. It is, however, better to come prepared for the duration of your stay. The nearest supermarkets are in Willowmore and Patensie. CAN I USE MY CARD TO PAY? No. You need to take enough cash for everything that you want to buy in the Baviaanskloof. There are no ATMs or card facilities. IS THERE CELLPHONE RECEPTION? There is no phone signal in the Baviaanskloof. Some of the accommodation options do have WiFi.
