The Gumtree World RX of South Africa comes to Killarney International Raceway in Cape Town and will see the world’s best rallycross drivers in their RX Supercars, with over 447 kW, delivering wheel-to-wheel heats and a final on a specially constructed, mixed asphalt-and-dirt surface. Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson will arrive in South Africa with the World RX title already in the bag after his win in Latvia, but there’ll still be plenty to race for in the final championship event of the season with such a high class field, including Sebastian Loeb, Mattias Ekstrom and Ken Block. Former world champion Petter Solberg of Norway will be hoping to make the trip to Cape Town after sustaining injuries in a crash. Tickets are still available at www.ticketpro.co.za.
