3 rib-eye steaks salt and pepper
30ml (2T) oil
3 garlic cloves, crushed
4 sprigs fresh thyme
1 sprig fresh rosemary, chopped sweet potato chips to serve
1 Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a large frying pan until it starts to sizzle. Add the steaks and cook over high heat until seared on the bottom, about 8 minutes. 2 Turn the steaks and add the butter, garlic, thyme and rosemary to the pan. Continue to cook on high heat, basting the steaks with the butter, garlic and herbs for about 7 minutes.
3 Slice the meat across the grain and serve with sweet potato chips.
