Elevation Power

EXECUTIVE PUBLICATIONS AND EDITORIAL DIRECTOR'S NOTE

-

The world has shown undeniable, uncanny ability to face head-on various pandemics from time immemorial and the capacity and agility to win, overcome and conquer. All these developments have cemented the notion that the universe always find a way to correct itself and emerge stronger irrespective of the trials and tribulations all these pandemics bring to the fore. For every pandemic that befall the planet Mother Earth, there are always thought, transformative, and influencer leadership that emerge to show that humankind is blessed in abundance with the will and agility to find greater opportunities to correct the wrongs that may emerge. This is mainly through tapping into the gifts, inner strengths, drive and capacity of all to find pathways where none seem to exist.

It is through these passions, purpose, creative and innovative abilities to look and search beyond what an ordinary eye could see, that keeps and will always keep powerful, elevating positivity to win over any negative forces that we, as humanity could face. As a people, we are designed for/as a ‘property ownership with exponential returns’ which would enable greater, sustainable achievement to bridge the gap and elevate the majority of the humankind through the resilient and unapologetic programs, technologies and collaborations that we create. We are constantly reminded and challenged to remain vigilant to ensure that it is through genuine, tangible and sustainable strategic collaboration (what I usually call co-opetition) and not competition that the universe, our ecosystem can be a better place to live on and to co-exist in. The world is an integrated and interdependent beauty, Africa forms part of it to reclaim its rightful place.

Quite recently, I was reminded that it is those that control the narrative that control the future; that they have the tenacity to frame and reframe our history to enable us to devise and design programs that bring integration, interdependence and genuine redress and improvements to the ills of our past. It is through our spoken and written voice as we give a speech, a presentation and as well as we write that article, proposal, research paper, book, song, movie that we can control the future and reframe our history to design positive, powerful programs and solutions that would bring higher than average living standards to all. There is an urgent need to formalize, recognize and support the entrepreneurial and leadership roles that women have been playing elevated from informal to the mainstream of our economies and to pull the youth to that level too.

As a digital business magazine par excellence, we believe that it is through targeting premium, Csuite executives and aspiring, emerging entrepreneurs we forge results in superior global collaboration to bridge the gap and take advantage of programs like AfCFTA and others where even regions of the world that were seen as forgotten could rise and reach those highs that Europe, China, etc managed to propel themselves to. Africa is at its pinnacle to reclaim its central role in the global trade and investment sphere and improve its ability to correct its wrongs and lack of real inter-intra Africa collaboration and as a collective welcome other regions for sustainable learnings and collaboration.

Africa is blessed with limitless resources (minerals and rich agricultural land that. It needs to ensure that all these get to be processed, beneficiated locally into final products so that the exponential returns could change the lives of the 1.3 billion of its citizens. It is through tangible investments in education, training and development; elevating entrepreneurship; technology for industrial development and working together to ensure that AfCFTA succeeds that Africa will rise. This toaks to the theme of our magazine launch edition.

These are instruments and tools for premium, C-suite executives in government, the private, civil and academic sectors need to adopt and adjust to, to learn from other regions that have walked the talk to amalgamate and integrate their market. Inspirational, sustainable, self-less servants leadership with a human heart is what Africa needs to achieve the ideals of AfCFTA and other programs. Thinking globally whilst acting locally, harnessing all local and international resources, relations and collaborations for sustainable development of the person, the country, the region and the universe is what would bring POWER.
