SA’s most affordable car to purchase and maintain
ACCORDING to the Kinsey report, an industry yardstick that looks at factors such as affordability and cost of ownership, the Datsun GO is SA’s most affordable car.
The Kinsey Report not only focuses on the price of car but also on the parts, which ultimately affects your insurance premiums and repair costs.
The report highlights the true cost of owning a vehicle and has become the benchmark independent parts pricing survey in the SA motoring industry.
In the City Cars category – entry-level cars for firsttime buyers, the GO has been named the best overall in the service, repair and crash parts sections respectively.
‘With 2017 results of the Kinsey report, it is further evidence of the Datsun GO’s attractive pricing structure in SA, which ensures that buyers can still maintain their vehicles at affordable prices, even in these tough economic conditions’, said Darrell Rowe, Sales Manager for Datsun and Nissan at Imperial Nissan Zululand, of the GO’s major achievement.
The affordability of parts, in conjunction with classleading fuel consumption, makes the total cost of ownership (TCO) one of the best.
Not only is the purchase price of the the GO very low - R128 900 - but the buyer also gets one year insurance and a new smartphone.
With more and more manufacturers wading into the waters of affordable car ownership, and SA’s ailing public transport system, cars like the GO give upwardly mobile citizens the opportunity to become mobile for at an affordable price.
