Start-up costs: We earned our investment back straight away, and used the profit for marketing. We retained other jobs to keep us going while we grew our business. We also have supportive spouses and friends who did a lot of work for free. Turnover: In the first few years, we took orders about four times a year. Now we take orders almost every month, and we’ve doubled our turnover in the past year.
