Running

-

‘I live in Sea Point, and I love running along the coast towards Camps Bay, or through the Waterfront area into the CBD,’ says Cara-Lee. ‘I use anti-chafe ointment under my running bra band to prevent chafing, sometimes even along my panty line.

‘SPF 50+ is a must, rain or shine. I slather it all over my face and on any exposed parts of my body. And I wear a hat! Always.’

‘My face and feet definitely take a beating when I run: my skin breaks out from the sweat and I have a few extra fine lines on my forehead from squinting (another sun hazard). “Runner’s toenails” are a real problem too! They say you’re not a real runner if you haven’t lost a toenail. It happened after my first marathon.’ Cara-Lee
