Have a coffee

Coffee is an integral part of life in Copenhagen, not only because it gives you a good excuse to duck into a cosy café and take refuge from the cold. The city is number four in the world when it comes to coffee consumption per capita, and it’s often served by candlelight, even during the day. The best cup I had was with breakfast at Mad & Kaffe (which literally translates to Food & Coffee) along with what they call ‘Morning Plates’, a kind of breakfast tapas menu.
