HOW TO GET UP TO EXERCISE IN THE MORNING

Good intentions fall by the wayside when it’s cold and dark and your bed is cosy and warm. You need to plan ahead!

Go to sleep early: Get between seven and eight hours of rest to make getting up at 5am easier. Get up as soon as the alarm goes off: No snoozing. Make adrenalin your friend. Drink a glass of water immediatel­y: This helps to kick-start your system Play a high-energy, pump-up song to get motivated when you need that extra push. Have your workout clothes ready next to your bed so you can pull them straight on and get out of the house.
