QUICK SHOE FIXES
How to break in leather pumps:
When your new shoes hurt like hell, pull them on over the thickest socks you can find and give them a blast with a hot hairdryer. A few seconds will help to soften and flex the leather. Wear them around the house until they’ve cooled down, and you’re good to go.
How to prevent new-shoes blisters:
Pop plasters on the shoes themselves in the areas that rub rather than directly on your skin so you don’t sweat the adhesive away.
