These are amaz­ingly easy. Just mix, roll, cut & bake.

Fairlady - - HEAVY PETTING -

Makes: 12 large treats Prep Time: 15 min­utes Bak­ing time: 20 min­utes or un­til golden brown YOU’LL NEED: • 4 cups oat flour, more as needed • ½ cup nat­u­ral peanut but­ter • 2/3 cup un­sweet­ened ap­ple sauce • 2 whole eggs IN­STRUC­TIONS: 1. Pre­heat the oven to 180ºC. 2. Com­bine the oat flour, peanut but­ter, ap­ple sauce and eggs in a large bowl. Mix thor­oughly. 3. If the dough is sticky, add a lit­tle oat flour un­til you can han­dle the dough with­out it stick­ing to your hands. 4. Roll the dough out to about 0,5cm thick­ness. Us­ing a cookie cut­ter, cut out your shapes. 5. Trans­fer onto a bak­ing sheet lined with bak­ing pa­per. 6. Bake for 20-25 min­utes un­til the cook­ies are dry and start­ing to brown at the edges. 7. Cool com­pletely on a wire rack and store in an air­tight con­tainer or bag in the re­frig­er­a­tor.

NB. Make sure your peanut but­ter does not con­tain a sweet­ener called xyl­i­tol, it is poi­son to dogs!
