FAIRLADY and Santam have once again partnered up to find South Africa’s most inspiring female entrepreneurs!

FAIRLADY and Santam are looking for SA’s 2018 Women of the Future: three amazing women who took the leap to work for themselves and are now creating opportunity for others and boosting the SA economy.

Santam is committed to the growth of SMEs in SA. Through an independent survey they found that the first 1000 days of a business are the hardest; if you’re still in business by day 1001, you’re likely to succeed long-term. So they created an online hub on their website offering a wealth of information, and where start-ups can access the insights, advice and journeys of successful entrepreneurs who’ve reached that 1001-day mark.

At FAIRLADY and Santam we believe in women doing business. We’d love you to enter yourself, or nominate someone else, for this competition – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Three remarkable entrepreneurs will be awarded great prizes. This year we’re adding a new category which awards a female entrepreneur whose business has made an impact in communities: the Social Entrepreneur award.

SO WHAT DOES IT TAKE? There are three awards: • The FAIRLADY Santam Woman of the Future

goes to an entrepreneur aged 30 or older whose business has survived 1000 days and who is on her way to creating an empire.

• The FAIRLADY Santam Rising Star

goes to an entrepreneur between 16 and 30 years old whose business is less than 1000 days old but which our judges believe will flourish way beyond that.

• The FAIRLADY Santam Social Entrepreneur title

is awarded to an entrepreneur making a real difference in the community. Aged 30 or older, her business has survived the first 1000 days.
