YOUR HOROSCOPE

Fairlady - - CONTENTS - By Angela Barry

Libra 23 Sept – 22 Oct

You have full, unadulterated permission to make this a #MeFirst month. It’s time, and you’ve earned it. Given that nobody should expect too much of you over this period, there’s every excuse to vanish into seclusion, consider lofty ideals, craft lingering dreams and, essentially, take a step back. Your people are quite able to cope without Libran level-headedness for a bit, so lose the guilt.

Aquarius 20 Jan – 18 Feb

Be less invested in the outcome, and adopt a shrug-it-off approach. This may be at odds with your humanitarian self, but understanding when to let go is as wise as knowing when to hold on. Some things aren’t going according to plan, and that’s okay. Happily, the angst felt now will melt faster than ice-cream cones left pooling in the car. (That’s your cue to laugh.)

Gemini 21 May – 20 Jun

Your energy reserves seem uncannily inexhaustible, even though you’re convinced they’re not. Whatever mysterious juju is prancing in your orbit, it works – so take advantage of it and tackle as much as you can before you slow back down to a brisk canter. Connections prove beneficial too, as do worthy causes. It doesn’t get better than this.

Scorpio 23Oct–2 1N ov

You tend towards intuition rather than logic. Using that to your advantage serves a solid purpose during this assertive blip on your personal growth calendar. Observe circumstances carefully, and consider how you feel about them. Good? Bad? So-so? Your gut knows best at the moment, so utilise it wisely. With practice, you might find decision-making becomes a cinch.

Pisces 19 Feb – 20 Mar

Applying the maxim ‘neither a borrower nor a lender be’ isn’t going to work for you since you’re constantly gushing energy into good works and rescuing people with little hope (or expectation) of anything in return. Perhaps you could take a break, just for a wee while? The universe has rewards in store, but while you’re busy fixing the world you could blink and miss them. Step back, and wait…

Cancer 21 Jun – 22 Jul

Easy, tiger. The world may seem more bleak than bling at times, but a dose of your over-the-top optimism will work wonders. In your case, the usual caveat applies: ‘do unto others what you would have done unto you.’ Being outrageously compassionate has benefits, particularly in relationships, which could use a shake-up. Be your best person – we all need you.

Sagittarius 22 Nov – 21 Dec

Bruises and bumps aside, you’re moseying along nicely; your journey is giving you plenty to chew on, new connections to make and options. Until now, circumstances weren’t always your cup of chai – but that’s changed, albeit temporarily. Gather up your inborn tenacity and strength of purpose to complete projects, particularly the ones you’ve been hoping will go away. They won’t.

Aries 21 Mar – 19 Apr

Flickers of annoyance aside, you’re getting on reasonably well relationship-wise. Learning to communicate diplomatically at work is the ticket to getting what you want, so shift from boss mode to team supporter. It’s easy, once that pesky ego is out of the way. You will start to thrive in a cushy, cooperative environment, and everybody will still love you, as they always do.

Leo 23 Jul – 22 Aug

It’s boring, but checks and balances now save headaches later. Adulting on a shoestring budget is irksome, and you would probably rather watch Netflix reruns. Diarising an admin day, sorting out summer clothes and fixing tax niggles might sound mountainous (and monotonous!), but imagine the sense of relief once it’s done…

Capricorn 22 Dec – 19 Jan

You know you’re unbeatable in the right frame of mind, but a lack of confidence often trips you up. Thankfully, being aware of this inner trash-talk is a winning way to prevent ailing self-belief from scuppering cherished ideals or dare-I-even-think-about-it dreams. But before you embark on whatever you fancy, know that there’s a chance of faltering at the finish line – that way, you won’t.

Taurus 20 Apr – 20 May

Downtime? When? Well, that’s up to you. But if you don’t, expect at least a smouldering burnout – sooner rather than later. Stern warnings aside, let’s face it: even the most tenacious Taurean needs a break from mundanity, particularly in the build-up to year-end. Invest in self-care as a matter of course. There’s no better way to spend your hard-earned cash.

Virgo 23 Aug – 22 Sept

How do you do it? Beavering away with minimal fuss and maximum output? Clearly, your secret weapon is a great attitude. By taking lows on the chin and accepting that highs don’t last, you’ll find an easy equilibrium that most would pay top dollar to achieve. Bear that in mind if the washing machine implodes next week… Whatever happens, you’ve got this.
