Free diabetes screening offered
On Friday 10 November, Team Cycle 4 Diabetes, led by the founder of C4D Dr Jacques Van Staden, will again turn the top end of York Street blue to raise awareness around diabetes and to give back to the George community. Medical professionals will do diabetes screening from 08:00 to 14:00, free of charge, to all members of the public. As before, the Algoa FM hit mobile will provide live music on the day.
All you have to do is tell your family, friends and colleagues to hop on a GO GEORGE bus and follow the blue to be screened for diabetes. Equip yourself for the fight against this insidious condition!
