Oakhurst Eden Xperience gives back to Eden

-

The annual Oakhurst Insurance Eden Xperience supports the charity programmes of the George Herald and Oakhurst Insurance in an effort to give back to the community of Eden. This is done by donating a portion of all proceeds to deserving charities identified by Oakhurst Insurance (Up With Downs) and the George Herald (George Herald Ordinary Magic for Madiba Reading Campaign). Lacy Mentz, chairman of the Glenwood House School Parents Association, says, “We are very privileged to be a part of such a beautiful community and very proud that we are able to give back to it. We cannot wait for this year’s premier outdoor festival of family fun on 7 and 8 September!”

There is great excitement following the announcement of two new sponsors joining the Oakhurst Insurance Eden Xperience team this year, namely Pentravel and Town Lodge. “Together we aim to contribute to a better future for everyone in our community,” says Mentz. “We also embrace Glenwood House School’s motto: Reduce, reuse and recycle to help minimise our carbon footprint.”
