Oppie Bol Foundation invites all avid and amateur golf players to their charity golf day fundraiser on Thursday 16 August at George Golf Club. Players are encouraged to enter in teams of four. A day filled with fun can be expected. Each player will receive a goodie bag, dinner will be provided and there are amazing prizes to be won. Chief executive officer of Oppie Bol Foundation, Cazle Hendricks, said both ablebodied golfers and golfers with disabilities, as well as sponsors and stakeholders, will participate in the golf day fundraiser. "There's no better sport than golf for bringing an inclusive society together, and with its winning combination of exercise, sporting and social interaction, golf is the perfect tonic for good health," said Cazle. "This platform of social interaction will also promote disability etiquette among all participants and present the opportunity to learn first-hand that there are no limits in sport or what persons with disabilities can do," he added.

Oppie Bol is a non-profit organisation and therefore depends upon funding from donors to attain and sustain its objectives. Their main objective is to advocate for people with disabilities and to empower disabled people. For more information regarding the charity golf day fundraiser or to make bookings, contact Cazle on 082 818 2956.
