Two bicycles with a combined value of R135 000 were stolen at Coimbra Cycle House in York Street early on Tuesday morning. One of the bikes, a Specialized Turbo Levo FSR Comp 6Fattie-electric bicycle, is worth R85 000. The road bike is worth R50 000. The suspects also tried to break in at RT Solutions, a computer store, but could not get past the security gate. The motorcycle store, The Bike Shop, was also a potential target, but the burglars made off when the owner opened shop at around 05:30.
