Sponsors support Carpe Diem’s Gourmets and Gourmands

-

The 2018 Carpe Diem School Gourmets and Gourmands will take place on 25 August. It promises to be an evening filled with tradition, coated in splendour, spice and loads of Bollywood bling. With a theme like "Boerekos and Bollywood", one can expect nothing less. Every year, the dedicated sponsors of this popular event make it possible for Carpe Diem School to present an event nothing short of illustrious.

Hartman & Sons Butchery is the chief sponsor of the Carpe Diem School Gourmets and Gourmands for the seventh successive year. This family business strives to be an integral part of the Garden Route community and contributes substantially to the special needs community. Raffaele D'Amato Jewellers will again add splendour to the event with a considerable donation of bling to be auctioned off.

For the second year, Nedbank's contribution will help to empower the special needs learners of Carpe Diem School. Other sponsors such as Fancy Functions, Xerox and of course Rudy de Bruyn of Ciro Coffee, help to make this event a triumph.

Carpe Diem School is thankful for the open hearts of the restaurants taking part in this event: François Ferreira Academy, Fat Fish, Rooi Kombuis, The Cellar, Su Casa, Augusta Grill, Pomodoro, Salina's, The Gannet, George Garden Route Game Lodge, Fancourt, 101 Meade, Turnberry Hotel, Thousand Sensations, Hetta's Home Food and Bistro Celeiro. Guests can also look forward to taste delightful wines from a variety of vineyards, expertly paired with each dish. Gourmets and Gourmands is a Saca approved function, which guarantees that the quality of the cuisine will be high.

Vital resources for Carpe Diem School's special needs learners will be acquired with funds raised during the 2018 Carpe Diem School Gourmets and Gourmands championed by Hartman. Carpe Diem School helps children from all over the Southern Cape and the school is an integral part of the Garden Route and Karoo communities.
