Presbyterian bazaar offers cacti gardens

-

Cacti gardens will be on show and on sale at the Presbyterian Church bazaar this year. It will be the first time that the bazaar offers this speciality.

The bazaar takes place at no. 8, Caledon Street, next to the library, at 09:00 on 27 October. This annual event has a large following and all the usual stalls will be back, as well as a few new ones.

Pannekoek, just like Ouma made them.

Loads of junk at our white elephant stall at cart away prices. Homemade jams that will "koo" as you spread them.

Fresh vegetables picked at 06:00 and sold at 09:00. Cakes and puddings and delicious melktert.

For the garden, miniature Inca lilies and large-bloom fuchsias, seedlings and succulents. Books and magazines of high quality, as well as collectables, the largest and cheapest of its kind in George.

For the sports fans, this year we also have a large selection of rugby and cricket books.

This may sound like an advertisement for a "one day sale" - with the difference that the bazaar prices are more like "final liquidation sale".

So, come along and join the fun. You are certain to find something to tickle your taste buds, to give as a Christmas gift, or to treasure in your own home. See you there.
