Greater Knysna Business Chamber chair bids farewell

-

Johnny Nkosi, Knysna:

The journey that was necessitated by the catastrophic 2017 fires has now come to an end.

Through my involvement with the Greater Knysna Business Chamber (GKBC), I had an opportunity of meeting and engaging with great leaders, some with whom I have formed lifetime relationships. I will forever be grateful for those.

Knysna possesses immense knowledge and wealth of experience that cannot be substituted.

The retired professionals together with astute business people in this town have the capability of taking this beloved town back to its glory days. I have a lot of faith that Knysna will rise and be the place to visit and conduct business.

My family's decision to relocate to Knysna was inspired from above with a specific purpose which we intend pursuing tirelessly. The BSC (Blessed, Strong and Courageous) qualification that I acquired with flying colours will keep driving us to focus on skills development, inspiring our youth and unleashing their God-given talents. My family is extremely happy in this tranquil, majestic Garden Route town and we have no intention of going back to the cities – Knysna is our home.

Four weeks ago I resigned as GKBC chairperson and I have subsequent to that decided to resign from the board as well. I wish GKBC all the best in attaining its mandate.
