PAMPERING FACE OILS
Ask any facialist, actress or beauty ed what she puts on her skin, and face oil will feature. “Two years ago, applying face oils seemed like smearing butter on your face,” says dermatologist Dr Joshua Zeichner. “But there’s a growing desire for natural products, and after cleansing oils became popular, people started understanding that putting oil on skin doesn’t mean it’ll feel greasy.” Fans love the glow that oils give, and quick absorption means that you can apply makeup ASAP.
AVOID THEM IF
You have cystic acne. Also avoid heavy oils, like avocado, which can clog pores, says Dr Zeichner. Instead, use tea tree or argan oil.
