TO WIN OVER YOUR CRUSH

You want a standout shade that will capture his attention and keep it, and the key is prepping your lips first. Why? Because dry lips don’t look very attractive (or kissable!), and they also don’t hold pigment well. Here’s how best to go bold. Step 1 Apply a layer of lip balm and let it sink in before slicking on your lipstick as you normally would, straight from the tube. Step 2 Place a tissue over your lips. Sweep a small brush in translucent powder and tap it over the tissue to absorb oil and set your lippie. Step 3 Dab another coat of colour onto your lips with your finger in a press-and-roll motion. “The colour will stick to your lips more,” says makeup artist Deanna Melluso.
