Groomer Kim Verbeck, 46, and actor Jon Hamm, 46, started working together in 2006, before Don Draper was even a thing. “Kimmy has been ‘my people’ ever since,” says Jon. glamour What’s the best part about working with Jon? KIM He’s very loyal. And always on time. JON Some boys are particular about how they look. I’m not. Not about anything at all, Jon?

J I’ve always had weird hair… K So wrong! I just add dry shampoo – it gives it body. J It’s funny when guys don’t like to talk about makeup. I’m like, “You know we’re all wearing makeup, right? ” K For Jon I use a tinted moisturise­r, powder and concealer under the eyes. J None of us are George Clooney and get to just put some dirt on our faces.

Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramírez, 40 (from The Girl on the Train), and his groomer of choice, Barbara Guillaume, 39, typically speak a mix of Spanish, French and English – “without people knowing what we are saying,” says Barbara. glamour What kind of prep goes into a day with Édgar? BARBARA Moisturise­r, eye drops, antishine, concealer, powder mixed with a little bronzer and lip balm – that’s it. What grooming do you do on your own? ÉDGAR I clip my nails. When you give someone your hand, it has to be clean. Why did you get involved with #Heforshe? E I think men and women’s burdens and destinies are intertwine­d. B He’s a huge advocate for women. I wish I only worked with Édgar!

Actor André Holland, 37, met groomer Kumi Craig, 38, six years ago in a “dark basement doing a press tour for the film 42,” he says. “We bonded immediatel­y.” After starring in the Oscar-winning film Moonlight, there is only one person he’ll call for his close-ups. glamour How did you get into grooming? KUMI I worked with a photograph­er who was shooting for Rolling Stone and Spin, then people like Jimmy Fallon just started calling me. What’s your grooming routine when you’re off set? ANDRÉ La Mer toner for my neck; Kumi hooks me up. K I do love a beard. You always need a little scruff. A I’ve also been known to do a little manicure once in a while.
