Groomer Kim Ver­beck, 46, and ac­tor Jon Hamm, 46, started work­ing to­gether in 2006, be­fore Don Draper was even a thing. “Kimmy has been ‘my peo­ple’ ever since,” says Jon. glamour What’s the best part about work­ing with Jon? KIM He’s very loyal. And al­ways on time. JON Some boys are par­tic­u­lar about how they look. I’m not. Not about any­thing at all, Jon?

J I’ve al­ways had weird hair… K So wrong! I just add dry sham­poo – it gives it body. J It’s funny when guys don’t like to talk about makeup. I’m like, “You know we’re all wear­ing makeup, right? ” K For Jon I use a tinted mois­turiser, pow­der and con­cealer un­der the eyes. J None of us are Ge­orge Clooney and get to just put some dirt on our faces.

Venezue­lan ac­tor Édgar Ramírez, 40 (from The Girl on the Train), and his groomer of choice, Bar­bara Guil­laume, 39, typ­i­cally speak a mix of Span­ish, French and English – “with­out peo­ple know­ing what we are say­ing,” says Bar­bara. glamour What kind of prep goes into a day with Édgar? BAR­BARA Mois­turiser, eye drops, an­ti­shine, con­cealer, pow­der mixed with a lit­tle bronzer and lip balm – that’s it. What groom­ing do you do on your own? ÉDGAR I clip my nails. When you give some­one your hand, it has to be clean. Why did you get in­volved with #He­for­she? E I think men and women’s bur­dens and des­tinies are in­ter­twined. B He’s a huge ad­vo­cate for women. I wish I only worked with Édgar!

Ac­tor An­dré Hol­land, 37, met groomer Kumi Craig, 38, six years ago in a “dark base­ment do­ing a press tour for the film 42,” he says. “We bonded im­me­di­ately.” Af­ter star­ring in the Os­car-win­ning film Moon­light, there is only one per­son he’ll call for his close-ups. glamour How did you get into groom­ing? KUMI I worked with a pho­tog­ra­pher who was shoot­ing for Rolling Stone and Spin, then peo­ple like Jimmy Fal­lon just started call­ing me. What’s your groom­ing rou­tine when you’re off set? AN­DRÉ La Mer toner for my neck; Kumi hooks me up. K I do love a beard. You al­ways need a lit­tle scruff. A I’ve also been known to do a lit­tle man­i­cure once in a while.
