Knock out Get set for a sensationa­l and incredibly moving experience as the legendary musical King Kong hits our stages for the first time in decades. First produced in 1956, the tragic tale of Soweto boxer Ezekiel ‘King Kong’ Dlamini launched the internatio­nal careers of Miriam Makeba, Todd Matshikiza, Kippie Moeketsi, Jonas Gwangwa and Hugh Masekela among others, and now a magnificen­t new cast will perform songs that shaped R&B, jazz and popular culture across the globe.
