Coach 1941’s wrecking yard
Stuart Vevers, creative director at Coach 1941, is known for sending his clothes down unique runways. He held his first show for the label in a specially constructed glass box above a construction site.
But if one of his shows stands out, it must be his spring 2017 runway. He described the collection as “an homage to rebels, beatniks and dreamers” – floaty dresses paired with studded leather jackets and boots.
The catwalk? Five rusted-out cars from the ’50s, piled on top of each other in the middle of a gravel-strewn runway. Beauty with an edge.
