My career path

I realised fashion wasn’t the career path for me, so I began working as a guest relations manager at a five-star hotel in New Delhi. After meeting my Belgian husband, Hans, and travelling together for some years, I applied for a job at the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, starting as executive assistant to the COO. I went on to work in food and drink, technical services, interior design and architectu­re – almost everything except the legal and finance department­s!
