The 10 names, shows and movies to know right now.

We know that sleep is really, really important, but these movies, TV shows and stars are really, really mesmerising. Just one more episode and then we’ll turn it off and go to bed, promise!

Alison Brie in Glow You could say Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan has perfected the formula: take an uptight protagonist and throw her into an unlikely spot. This time it’s an ’80s wrestling ring, as Alison throws down with characters twice her size in the role of Ruth Wilder, an out-of-work Los Angeles actress.

Elisabeth Moss in The Handmaid’s Tale If you haven’t been watching this gripping dystopian drama, here’s your cue to join fans around the world. In this brilliant take on Margaret Atwood’s feminist novel, Elisabeth shines as Offred, a young woman forced to become a sex slave in a totalitarian state. The stakes are life and death, and danger ever present – making her Mad Men character Peggy Olson look meek.

Demetriusin All Eyez on Shipp Me Jr Demetrius shows the softer side of legendary rapper Tupac in this dramatic biopic, and the likeness is uncanny – right down to the abs.

Marguerite van Eeden in Vaselinetjie Expect to weep buckets in this movie. Based on the award-winning YA novel by Anoeschka von Meck, it’s the tale of Vaselinetjie, a young girl who is taken from her beloved grandparents after it is revealed that she is not their biological grandchild. Rising star Marguerite is great in this, her first feature film role.

Sarah Silverman in A speck of Dust The last time Sarah treated us to a stand-up special, she wowed with a bit about making the P word great again – and won an Emmy. And that was pre-donald Trump. We’re betting she does it again.

Salma Hayek in Beatriz at Dinner White privilege and workingclass immigrants collide at a dinner party, with riveting results. Expect Oscar buzz for Salma and her poetic turn as the out-of-place Beatriz.

Riley Keough in It Comes at Night In this tale about two families locked inside a cabin, Riley flexes an impressive new muscle: angry mom.

Kyle Maclachlan in Twin Peaks Kyle’s back as Special Agent Cooper, and he’s right where we left him last: gazing into the mirror, all mysterious-like. We think you’re sexy, too, Kyle.

Coaches in The Voice South Africa Whether you’re team Lira, Karen, Khan or Bobby, you’re bound to be entertained by these dynamic and individualistic stars, and fascinated to watch them tutor their protégés all the way to the spotlight.

Elle Fanning in The Beguiled Elle seduces Colin Farrell in Sofia Coppola’s take on the 1966 Gothic novel about a deadly coven. It’s Girls all grown up.
