our lives have changed dramatically. We’ve had to find new ways to work, live and interact with each other. Thanks to technology, we can communicate with our loved ones, open an app and order groceries or takeaways with just a few swipes – the list is endless

when it comes to things we can do with our smartphones.

In this issue of Glamour, we focus on the digital innovations that are making our lives easier while we observe social distancing, self-isolation or quarantine. While some businesses are fighting to keep their doors open, others are adapting, innovating and thriving. E-commerce is experiencing an overwhelming boost and, inside this issue, we discuss how we’ve had to adapt to virtual ways of exercising, shopping, entertainment, banking and dating. The Covid-19 pandemic’s teaching us how to do more with less,

and it’s interesting to observe a new future rapidly taking shape in and around us.

As restrictions are in place around the world, we as magazines and other forms of media have had to be creative with our covers, fashion editorials and beauty shoots. Following social-distancing guidelines, photographer Emman Montalvan shot portraits of our cover star Kehlani in her home, and we conducted her interview via Zoom. The R&B songstress even did her hair and makeup for the shoot. Kehlani shares the details of her new and beautiful album, titled ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’, and she also

gets real about social media and celebrity culture.

Enjoy the read. Until next time.
