Sherpa is tops!

We were the owners of a Sherpa Tiny caravan and recently exchanged it for the bigger model, the Rambler. In April we were towing with the Rambler through Namibia and travelled 6 500 km. It’s a wonderful caravan to tow and performs admirably. Even though many of the roads are not great, the Rambler came home in one piece. One wonders how other caravans would fare on such a trip. To make absolutely certain everything is in order, I took the Rambler to Sherpa so they could check everything out. Neville de Meillon, the owner of Sherpa, did it for free and only minor repairs were needed here and there. We towed the Rambler with our Volkswagen Amarok and the fuel consumption was 9 ℓ/100 km (11,1 km/ℓ). That’s a winning combination!
