Christmas comes early at Pulani
It’s always nice to hear about a new campsite. On the mineral resources road right outside Mookgophong in Limpopo, opposite the Constantia Caravan Park, Pulani Park has opened its gates. It used to be a reception hall for festivities like weddings. But Sean and Ansonia Jacobs, two of the sectional title owners, saw an opportunity to establish a campsite. There are 13 stands with water and electricity, and you can choose between a brick braai or a loose-standing one. Besides the brand-new bathrooms, there’s also a swimming pool. If you prefer more privacy, choose a bush spot about a kilometre from the campsite. There are also facilities like water, electricity and bathrooms. Now wedding guests can overnight in their own caravans! The area is known for it’s magnificent scenery. Bring your mountain bikes and explore Pulani’s tracks or take a hike up the mountain. Pulani means “place of rain” in Tswana, and on this piece |of land of 260 ha there are quite a few springs with mineral-rich water. Price R250 p.n. per stand for the first 4 people, R50 p.p. extra.
